ESTIMATION OF GLACIAL DEBRIS FLOW CHARACTERISTICS USING A CHAIN OF MATHEMATICAL MODELS

چکیده
The paper discusses the application of a chain mathematical models for calculating glacial debris flow. Modeling was carried out Bodomdara River valley case an outburst Lower Lake (Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, Tajikistan). FLOVI program, written in Python programming language, applied; it combines equations lake hydrograph and characteristics flow during its formation. To calculate flood hydrograph, model through intraglacial channel developed by Yu.B. Vinogradov used. Additional calculations were made with change length channel. With decrease 100 m, maximum discharge can increase 7% potential mudflow source assessed using transport-shift Since there no initial data on parameters source, author conducted numerical experiments. simulated FLO-2D hydrodynamic model. Calculations performed two scenarios: 1 – entire complex models, 2 without According to simulation results scenario 2, area zone found be less almost 19%. Thus, use makes possible obtain more realistic zones.

15 صفحه اولEstimation of Runoff using Modified SCS Models
In recent decades, due to the importance of watershed management programs and the need for adequate information and correct estimation of rainfall and runoff, many conceptual models have been proposed. These models have parameters that must be estimated according to observational data. However, finding the optimal values for the parameters of simulation models has always faced uncertainty. One ...

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Flow Field Characteristics of an Aerospike Nozzle Using Different Turbulence Models
To improve the calculation of the flow properties of an aerospike nozzle, different turbulence models were investigated in this study. The primary shape of the nozzle plug is determined through utilizing an approximate method. The flow field is, then, simulated using the Navier-Stokes equations for compressible flows. The commercial computational fluid dynamics code Fluent is used to simulate t...
